Do you want to lose weight? No, I mean do you really want to lose fat?
When you have finally decided you want to slim down, I have found the best thing to do is to Count Calories. Limit the intake of food and you will have GUARANTEED WEIGHT LOSS.
First: Use a Healthy Body Weight Calculator to determine what your body weight should be for your height.
Next: Determine how many calories you should be eating with a Weight Calorie Calculator.
Reduce your calories daily so that you lose weight. It takes 3500 calories to make a pound. I reduced 1100 calories per day, and am losing 2 lbs per week. I put myself on a 800 calorie a day diet. It fluctuates some, but I try to stay around 800-1000 calories per day. I have trained myself to count calories. Don't eat under 800 calories as you will be very hungry.
Get a Calorie Counting Book (full size one with everything), and a Portable Calorie Counter List, and use it faithfully. Pretty soon you will have most foods that you eat memorized and will be eating very healthy. Make sure you watch serving sizes. I also stay away from anything fried, and usually eat something every 2-3 hours to keep my blood sugar up and hunger down. Use reduced calorie foods (45 calories per slice of bread instead of 100 calories per slice, same thing with English Muffins, or substitute a Bialy instead of a Bagel. A Bialy has less calories sometimes (depends on brand), or a multigrain Corn Crisp, 23 calories each (can get from Health Food store, also have several different types of grains available). Don't use your eating calories on drinks- drink water, diet soda if you have to have one, coffee, tea, no sugar). Lower calories fruit/vegetable drinks: V8, 35 calories, Lite Cran-Grape fruit drink, 40 calories. Just look for low calories.
Cut your portions down, or share a meal (instead of eating all 4 slices of buttered toast at the restaurant, eat 1-2 and have spouse or friend eat the other slices. Request no butter. Use jam, apple butter, or lite cream cheese if you need something on the toast.). Eliminate using dressings, and condiments if you can. Enjoy the food as it is. You will be amazed how many calories you can save by not eating dressing. (For example, I love a Blue Cheese Wedge Salad, but the restaurant pours 1000-1200 calories of dressing on the lettuce wedge! Yikes! I can live without it, or add my own sparingly).
Sample Breakfast: (This is more like my weekend meal, normal day would be 1 glass V8, and 1 orange, or a Luna bar)
1 small can V8 (35 calories)
1 Grapefruit (51 calories)
1 English Muffin (100 calories, no butter)
Raspberry Jam (50 calories)
Snack:
Cornuts (210 calories, or eat half)
or Beef Jerky (80 calories)
or Rice Cakes (30 calories each)
or 1 serving of corn chips (140 calories)
or 1 Banana (100 calories)
or Kix cereal (160 calories w/Milk)
or Oatmeal (130 calories)
or Protein Bars/Luna Bar
(180 calories)
or Nuts
or Fruit
or Yogurt (140 Calories)
Lunch:
Top Ramen Noodles (380 calories or half 190 Cal.)
or Avocado Sandwich (468 calories, or just eat the Avocado for 378 cal.)
Or pick a snack or have bowl of low calorie cereal, soup, oatmeal, or fruit
Or combine snacks
Snack - pick a low calorie snack
Dinner:
Salad w/fruit (no dressing, or sprinkle dressing) (under 300 calories)
or Shrimp Cocktail with Steamed Broccoli (less than 300 calories)
or 1 Bean Burrito (300 calories)
or 1-2 Tostadas (bean) (200 calories)
or a Michelina's Garden Bistro frozen meal (180 calories)
or 1 piece of Pizza (300 calories) (Cheeseless pizza is healthier)
or Grilled Chicken with green salad and fruit
or a Vegetable plate
or BLT Salad (w/ bacon & tomato, no dressing)
It's ok to have bread with your dinner, just count the calories. I eat carbs and still lose weight..
I normally eat around 300 calories during the day and then have 500 calories to work with for dinner. Remember, this doesnt have to be exact, you just need to be around 800 daily while you lose weight. You may have a day where you end up eating more because of family or work commitments, but just go right back to counting calories the next day, as one day won't hurt your diet.
If you are ever hungry between
meals, eat a Rice Cake. They are 30 calories each, and you can eat 1-2 of them
and feel satiated. They taste like popcorn, and you can get flavored Rice Cakes
too. Meal Replacement Protein Powder is good as well, as you can drink 1 glass
and get usually around 120 calories, and 20+ grams of protein. Make sure you get
the lower calorie protein powder, not weight gain..
Just be creative and watch how many calories you are eating and you will lose weight guaranteed if you do this every, single day. You don't even have to exercise, but I recommend it if you can. Talk with your physician first before any new diet plan. Basically you can eat anything you want (within limits). Stay away from fried (too many calories anyways) and overly fatty foods and you will be fine.
You can occasionally have an alcoholic beverage, but make sure the calories are part of your meal plan. Plan for it. You also can go out to eat, just plan ahead what you will be eating and just order that. I eat my dinners out usually, and have no problem at all staying on plan. When trying to figure calories, I tend to estimate upward, so I really will still be on plan.
Once you lose the desired amount of weight, you can then increase calories for the new body weight. Set a goal for losing your weight - like getting new clothes, or a vacation. Let me know how this works for you.

I
recommend doing this as Fruitarian/Vegetarian or Vegan, as you will have plenty
of energy, and won't have to count calories. You can eat your fill of fruit,
nuts, vegetables and lose weight weekly until you reach the weight you are
supposed to be at. Meals are quick and easy. Your blood sugars are under control
and you don't feel hungry. It's the easiest and most natural way to eat and lose
weight. "Eat Your Way Slim".
Sample Daily Diet:
Beverage: Water, daily and during meals. I have 1 cup of coffee on the weekends. Occasionally a glass of beer with dinner.
Breakfast:
1 Banana
1 Orange
Snack:
5 Raw Cashews
1 Plum
Lunch:
1 Avocado
8 Cherry Tomatoes
1 Orange
Snack:
1 Pear
1 Rice Cracker (Japanese Seaweed Crackers)
Dinner:
Broccoli
Corn on the Cob
8 Cherry Tomatoes
1 Orange
Japanese Noodles
Snack: (pick one)
1 Hardboiled Egg White
1 Rice Cracker
1 Multigrain Crisp Cracker
Dessert: (Pick one)
1 Orange
5 Cherries
1 sugar free Ice Cream Bar, or Fudgsicle or Popsicle
1 serving Apple Sauce
8 Sweet Cherry Tomatoes
You get the idea. There are so many things you eat. Vary them daily. Eat healthy. Watch the carbs or oils. I don't eat more than 1 avocado daily. I occasionally have a multigrain crisp cracker with peanut butter, or plain, but I mainly eat fruit. You will probably not need a dessert, as you won't have a craving for sweets, since you are eating fruit daily.
If you need to use Diet Pills in the beginning, please see below. I don't recommend using them beyond 1-2 weeks. I recommend the Hoodia Diet Pills and the Lipo 6. You wont need them if you are eating Fruits & Vegetables.
